I had the opportunity to take 2 full days of classes focused on representing sellers in today's real estate market. It was nice to spend a couple days to learn a few new tricks and a few old tricks, and even though we learned that only 1% of the public care about designations, I'm still looking forward to receiving my SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) Designation!
The instructor, Lee Barrett was terrific and had a wealth of information to share and I also learned quite a bit from meeting and speaking with other agents in the class. I enjoyed the atmosphere created by the group seating and appreciate all the other agent who were openly sharing ideas and information to help their fellow co-workers.
A big AH HA for me was getting the affirmation that we are now in a SELLERS MARKET in Las Vegas! It's certainly felt like a sellers market when most of the homes have multiple offers and more than 50% are closing at or above list price, but calculating the absorption rate and seeing that we currently only have a 4-5 month inventory was eye opening.
I love the learning and the extra letters are just a bonus
Lee is an awesome instructor and I love how he keeps to topic when the crazy questions roll in ;)
